When the new Chief Executive joined in 2021, she was keen to recruit an Executive Director of People who she and the and the Leadership Team could work closely with to develop a commercial, forward thinking, and inclusive organisation with an engaged and capable workforce.
Lisa Wormald, Director of Executive Search for ResourceBank Exec, embarked upon a fully retained search to map the market using her extensive network and knowledge of the HR sector. This thorough process provided a varied and diverse longlist who were individually interviewed by Lisa for both technical expertise and cultural fit. From this process, a diverse shortlist of six candidates was generated and was presented to the Chief Executive. All six candidates were met by the client and three selected to go through to a 2-stage client including a panel-based final interview, candidate presentations and psychometric testing.
An exceptional candidate with extensive experience in strategic HR and culture change was appointed and joined the organisation in November 2021. Within her first six months, she has played a key role in developing a new organisational values and behaviour framework. She is now leading the empowerment of colleagues throughout the organisation to deliver a highquality service to customers.
