When Bernadette isn’t speaking to candidates she’s spending time focussing on her own business as an Aesthetics Practitioner. She studied and took the required exams around her work at ResourceBank and now Bernadette has a thriving business alongside her role at ResourceBank.

“I have never worked for an organisation that has been so flexible and understanding when it comes to outside activities and hobbies. For many years I wanted to step into an industry that was completely different to my normal working world in recruitment.

My passion and dream has always been in the world of aesthetics and making people feel good and confident about themselves.

Once I qualified, I began my own business which has been running alongside my working week in recruitment on weekends and the occasional evening and Resource Bank have been very supportive throughout it all.

I have even had colleagues visit me for treatments which is amazing!

I have no intention to leave Resource Bank and what have I truly loved is how they been very open in asking what my future plans and growth are with both my business and with Resource Bank. I have aspirations and goals to achieve, and I am looking forward to working on a variety of accounts and fulfilling my goals here”
