An Olympic effort for World Duty Free
The 2012 Olympics brought with them a dramatic increase in footfall through Heathrow and other UK airports resulting in a drive to recruit more than 500 permanent and seasonal recruits into the business.
A long-term partnership between the World Duty Free Group and ResourceBank proved to be the key to filling the surge in vacancies but it required a truly Olympic effort with around 15,000 applications to sift through, shortlist, interview and process. ResourceBank’s ability to scale up its service and provide flexible resources ensured they dealt with the four-fold increase in vacancies without compromising the high calibre of candidates required.
