You have until the end of January to receive £3k apprenticeship incentive

There are just weeks remaining until the Government apprenticeship incentive payments cease on 31st January 2022.

Many people may still be unaware that any apprentices hired between 1st October 2021 and 31st January 2022 entitle the employer to receive a payment of £3,000 – and this in addition to the £1,000 employers already receive for hiring an apprentice.

As the payment is separate to apprenticeship levy funds, you can spend the funding to meet any of the associated costs of taking on a new apprentice, be it uniforms, travel and even towards wages, and you don’t have to pay it back!

If you’re interested in hiring an apprentice but aren’t sure where to begin, ApprenticeLink from ResourceBank is a unique service that supports organisations to utilise apprenticeship training most effectively.
